No sweat no gain is a misnomer. Actually, you can gain muscle mass though heavy lifting with long periods of rest. No sweat. With rest there is no cardio, no elevated heart rate, no sweat.
Sorry, couch potatoes, finishing off a 20 pack of Bud Lights on Superbowl Sunday does not make you stronger, drunker yes.

But the good news is you sweat with those frequent trips to the commode during commercials. This counts for cardio if you run, extra points if someone is in the bathroom and you have to jump up and down while holding it. you are what you readhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/17397887493073863245noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3874930868298643955.post-70920328856604784922013-01-19T08:11:00.003-08:002013-01-19T08:11:49.840-08:00Nobody cares"Wisdom," a wise old man once said, "comes with both age and experience."

So, why is it that nobody cares what an old man has to say? And two old men - would be twice as irrelevant. Is it because old men tend to ramble on and on? Is it because they speak with sarcasm even cynicism? Is it because they are a tad bit politically and socially insensitive?

Or, is it that late in life all an old man wants is the truth?

And, as for the rest of you, as Jack Nicholson's flawed and out-dated character says in a A Few Good Men, "You can't handle the truth!"
